Common questions

Do you take insurance?

Companion Care and Elder Care are private pay. Many families use long-term care insurance or VA benefits to cover the cost, and we provide the invoices and care notes you need for your claim.

Are there any extra fees?

No hidden fees. Your written quote lists your rate, schedule, and billing terms before care begins.

Why is there a deposit?

A one-week deposit holds your caregiver's schedule when care begins. The terms are explained in your service agreement.

Is home care tax-deductible?

Sometimes. Care for someone with chronic health needs may count as a medical expense. Ask your tax advisor about your situation.

Do I need a doctor's referral?

No. You can contact us directly to get started. For Elder Care, our nurse may ask for your loved one's doctor and medication list to build a safe care plan.
